AR26 Charity were delighted to host our first Captain’s Cup Golf Day at Gleneagles on Wednesday 21st June 2023 in partnership with Arnold Clark.
We were joined with elite sport and business professionals from across the UK, coming together for a great day of golf but assisting us upfront in raising vital funds for the extension and development of our free Football for All programme, delivered across Scotland.
We believe every child in Scotland should have the chance to play football with no barriers and we are on a mission to make this a reality. Currently delivering an annual free Football for All programme in 10 regions across Scotland and aiming to be in 26 by 2026. However, we can’t do it alone and events like this are invaluable in helping us on our way. The belief and passion for what we are trying to do was contagious on the day, resulting in great generosity from guests, allowing us to raise an incredible £70,000.
We can’t thank our guests enough and everyone else who supported the day from our event partners Arnold Clark to our hosts Gleneagles and the abundance of businesses and people who donated prizes.
We firmly believe the Captain’s Cup will be an annual fixture and we can’t wait for the next one.
