At AR26, our mission has always been simple: create free, accessible football opportunities that positively impact young people and communities beyond the pitch across Scotland.
Reaching Thousands of Young People
Throughout the year, 7,053 young people took part in AR26 sessions. Every session represented more than just football- it was a safe space to learn, grow, build confidence, and feel part of something positive.
741 hours of Free Football
We delivered an incredible 741 hours of free football, removing financial barriers and ensuring every young person had the opportunity to play, regardless of background. Across 204 days of football, our pitches became places of energy, teamwork and enjoyment.
Impact Across 9 Regions
AR26 sessions take place across 9 regions- Perth, North Ayrshire, North Lanarkshire, Inverclyde, Stirling, Edinburgh, Glasgow South, Glasgow North and Dundee. By taking our sessions directly into local areas, we ensured football was accessible where it was needed most.
Supporting Beyond the Pitch
This year, we also provided 1,294 free lunches, recognising that support goes beyond football. For many young people, this meant not only staying active but also being properly fuelled during the day, a small action that makes a big difference.
Teamwork
None of this would be achievable without our dedicated and inspiring delivery team.
20 AR26 coaches delivered sessions consistently throughout the year, bringing passion, professionalism and care to every session.
7 dedicated volunteers supported our work, giving their time and energy to help young people thrive.
Their commitment is the backbone of everything we do here at AR26 Charity.
We would just like to thank parents, participants, coaches, volunteers and funders for all the help and continued support throughout the full year. The part you play is invaluable and we couldn't do it without you, thank you for joining us upfront.
We look forward to an even bigger year in 2026!
