Night Before Christmas Campaign

This festive season, AR26 had the privilege of supporting the Night Before Christmas campaign, an initiative dedicated to ensuring children don’t miss out on the magic of Christmas.

We spent the day helping pack presents for children who may not receive many (or any) gifts this year. From toys and games to thoughtful little surprises, every present was packed with care, kindness, and the hope of bringing a smile to a child’s face on Christmas morning.

Walking into the space, the atmosphere was full of warmth and generosity. Christmas trees, festive decorations, and the famous “Elf Workshop” setting a truly magical environment- a reminder of how powerful community spirit can be, especially at this time of year.

What stood out the most was the dedication of the volunteers and organisers behind the campaign. Their hard work ensures that families are given the chance to experience the joy, excitement, and comfort that Christmas should bring, regardless of their circumstances. It was humbling for us to be a part of something that makes such a real and meaningful difference, that directly aligns to our own ethos of creating chances and making childhoods count, supporting families across Scotland.

Giving back is something we are incredibly passionate about at AR26 and our work with the Night Before Christmas campaign is always a special date in the diary. .

A huge thank you to everyone involved in organising the incredible work that goes into the campaign and to all the volunteers for their above and beyond efforts to spread the magic at what can be an incredibly difficult time of year for many families. Without the volunteers, the campaign wouldn’t be possible.
